A Journey of Dedication to Arena Football

"We were part of those first two championship wins," Turner reminisces with nostalgia. "Being involved in this new era of the Outlaws means everything to me. It's about bringing back that winning spirit to our city. Honestly, if we weren't winning, I probably wouldn't still be here," he admits.

Atmosphere in the Arena

The conversation then shifted to the arena, a beloved venue for players and fans alike. "The atmosphere there is incredible," he notes. "We're not at full capacity yet, but with each win, more and more people are filling the stands. It's where memories are made; now, I see kids who used to cheer us on bringing their own children. That feeling never gets old," Turner reflects.

Winning and Inspiring in Billings

Turner's enthusiasm is felt when discussing the team's current success. "Winning means the world to us. It's not just about the games; it's about inspiring the next generation. Seeing our city rally behind us, especially the younger guys who look up to us—it's priceless. Winning the right way brings a whole new level of pride," he explains.

Community Engagement Around Arena Football in Montana

The community lies at the heart of the Outlaws' mission, which is seen in their outreach across Billings. "Being part of the city fabric is crucial. Billings is the Magic City, and we want our fans to feel connected, whether they're at the games or out in town. It's about being visible and contributing to our community," he passionately emphasizes.

Turner offers straightforward advice for those unfamiliar with arena football or considering attending a game: "Come to the game and be part of the action. It's fast-paced and exciting, and it brings out the kid in all of us. You're not just watching; you're part of the experience."

Cherished Memories for Billings’ Sports Fans

Looking back on his fondest memory, Turner recalls the joy of winning their first championship—a moment that holds a special place in Billings sports history. "When that final whistle blew and fans flooded the field—it was pure magic. That's what this team means to me."

More than a Game

In the world of the Billings Outlaws, football is not just a sport sport; it's a way of life—a testament to perseverance, community, and the thrill of victory. As the Outlaws continue to build their legacy in Montana, one win at a time, their spirit shines brighter than ever.
