The WHL’s Regina Pats Select Arizona Prospect, 1st Overall in US Priority Draft

The Western Hockey League (WHL) held its 2024 U.S. Priority Draft today.

In the first pick of the draft, the Regina Pats selected: Forward, Braden Hordichuk of Scottsdale, Arizona

The son of former NHL player Darcy Hordichuk-Braden, played for the Phoenix Jr. Coyotes 14U AAA team this past season, registering 20 goals and 12 assists in 37 games.
