The Orcas High Vikings fell 6-3 against Naselle in the WIAA State High School Baseball playoffs. 

“Never easy to lose, but the kids played their hearts out, I couldn’t be prouder of them,” said Orcas Head Coach, Eli Sanders.

A Memorable Season for Orcas High School Baseball

Nonetheless, the Vikings had a season to remember as they took the Northwest 1B/2B title and the District Championship and had several players honored in the All-League Awards. 

Nasselle came into the game as the defending State Champions and were formidable opponents. They will now move on to the semi-finals in Ephrata over Memorial Day weekend and play the winner Almira-Coulee-Hartline and Northport. 

Orcas Island Beat Pomeroy to Reach the High School Baseball Quarterfinals
