Whitman College Lacrosse NW Conference Semi-Final Game

Whitman Women’s Lacrosse opens up their Northwest Conference (NWC) play with a semi-final game against Oregon’s George Fox University (GFU) today (May 4, 2024) at noon Pacific.

Whitman finished 4th in the regular season standings with a 6-6 conference record and 10-7 overall, locking in the fourth spot in the NWC tournament. Their opponent, GFU, went 12-0 in the conference and 13-3 overall.

Whitman is confident about the match-up as they played the Bruins closely in their last game in Walla Walla, Washington. The Blues tied the Bruins at the half, and holding GFU to just 3 goals in the second period before falling 19-12.
